  • Overview

    The Maintenance Project Specialist is responsible for managing various scopes of projects as assigned. The Maintenance Project Specialist will also be responsible for gathering data, reviewing and presenting the results to leadership.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

    • Review, and evaluate Maintenance Change Requests.
    • Manage maintenance projects assigned by leadership
    • Drives projects to on-time and on budget completion using project management best practices.
    • Gathers, reviews, and analyzes maintenance data to assist with driving improvements
    • Maintains and develops company drawings.

    OTHER DUTIES

    • Other duties and special projects as assigned
    • Assist all departments with gathering, reviewing, and presenting data.
    • Assist with performing aircraft maintenance as required

    Qualifications

    Education:

    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate
    • Inspection Authorization Preferred

    • Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
    • Exhibits professionalism, is ethical and able to maintain confidentiality.
    • Well-organized, analytical and self-directed.

    Experience:

    • Previous experience using aviation drawings, blueprints, and technical data preferred.
    • Previous experience in part 135/145 helicopter maintenance operations ideal
    • Previous manufacturing experience ideal

     

    WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL & MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Performance duties requires the employee to regularly reach with hands and arms; speak and hear.
    • Required to sit, stand, walk, climb, or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
    • Must have adequate balance to inspect a helicopter
    • Must be able to lift and/or move 30lbs
